Bringing Contract Programmers To The United States To
Work At Your U.S. Location
When the NAFTA Treaty was implemented, a new visa was
created that allows people with certain skill sets to
come to the United States, from México, to work. This
visa is called the TN visa. The TN visa is MUCH simpler,
less expensive, and without limitation as to the number
of qualified people, than the H1B visa, which are what
programmers from other countries have to use.
Additionally, the visa, which is issued for 1, 2 or 3
years, is infinitely renewable, unlike the H1B visa.
Netshore has been placing programmers and systems’
analysts with Fortune 500 and other companies in the
United States under this program for years now.
Netshore Programming, because of its history and length
time of being in business, has accumulated a large
library of résumés of very qualified programmers. We
have also built up a network for finding programmers
with unusual or “in demand”, skill sets. We have been
able to find programmers to match the skill sets of the
requests we get ninety plus per cent of the time Also,
our experience in working with the issuing agency
enables us to process these visas in days, instead of
months.
Because of the expenses involved in vetting,
interviewing, and processing these professionals, we
normally require that they be Netshore employees (we
arrange for their housing, pay all of their expenses,
and their taxes), and that the contract be of 6 months
duration. However, there can be exceptions.
